Motion and Enhanced Face Search

Lumana delivers cutting-edge AI capabilities, with the ability to detect over 100 different objects. Today, we are expanding our search capabilities with the introduction of Motion Search. This feature assists users in situations where specific objects are not detected, or object attributes are unknown. Motion Search can be applied across all cameras or at an individual camera level in a particular section of a frame.

Additionally, we have enhanced our facial recognition and searching capabilities to allow users to select multiple faces in a single search. Whether you need to find any face from a list or identify multiple faces within the same frame, our enhanced face search makes finding highly detailed footage easy.

Custom Alert Notification Messages

VMS+ received new updates to provide greater alert flexibility and control by allowing users to customize alert messages triggered by the Lumana system. Users can now build their own alert messaging using plain text, out-of-the-box query parameters, or HTTPs/RESTful API content as part of an automated alert action. This feature allows administrators to offer additional context behind an alert rather than using standard default text that provides little information.

For example, if a face recognition alert is set to notify your team when a disgruntled employee arrives on-premises, the alert message can be configured to provide more information, as in the example below.

Achieving Zero Bandwidth with Local Mode

Local Mode is a game-changing feature that enables users to stream cameras directly to their walls, bypassing the cloud and consuming zero upload bandwidth. This mode lets you view camera feeds in their native resolution and FPS, provided you are on the same Local Area Network (LAN). Local Mode ensures you can monitor your feeds with the highest quality and efficiency, even in bandwidth-limited environments.
