Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive (AE) with specialized expertise in prospecting, demos, and closing to join our Lumana sales team. As an AE, you will take a pivotal role in driving business growth by actively sourcing and closing new business opportunities while fostering and leveraging existing relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mid-market sales and relationship management in the video security industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Acquisition: Source and close new business to consistently achieve or surpass quarterly sales quotas, leveraging a deep understanding of Lumana's product advantages over competitive offerings.
- Product Mastery: Develop an intimate understanding of Lumana's products in comparison to competing solutions, enabling you to position our offerings effectively during customer interactions.
- Complete Sales Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting new customers, hosting compelling online demos, crafting tailored proposals, and effectively closing deals.
- Pipeline Oversight: Maintain meticulous pipeline management and forecasting accuracy. Utilize prospecting tools like Zoom Info, LinkedIn, and Outreach to identify and engage prospective clients.
- Trusted Advisor Role: Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for clients and channel partners, delivering insights and expertise that align with their security needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product, marketing, business development, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless launches and fuel future product growth.
- Market Insight: Provide valuable feedback from the market and clients to Lumana's Product and Engineering teams, aiding in the continuous refinement and enhancement of our solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas through expert prospecting, demos, and closing mid-market accounts.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing Salesforce, and prospecting platforms ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and Outreach.
- Self-motivated, capable of independent work, and a strong collaborator within team environments.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and partner engagements as necessary.
